The Parliament of the secessionist republic of Abkhazia fixed on January 12th the keeping of new presidential elections. The candidates have from 17 till 29 December to register.
Serguei Bagapsh, which shares power with its ancient rival - nowadays become allied Raul Khadjimba suite in an agreement found December 6th after weeks of disorder around results questioned by the presidential polls of October 3rd of this year, is this day the only candidate declared for presidential election. Abkhazia: Bagapsh resists to Russian pressures
The chief of Abkhazian opposition, Serguei Bagapsh, which has intention to celebrate its win on the last presidential election, on December 6th of this year, maintained that it no cedera no in the threats of Russia concerning a potential blockade of the region.
Russian authorities had asserted they wanted to study the documents of the electoral Commission of Abkhazia by sending Russian experts there. A decision to which opposes Bagapsh.

The Parliament abkhaze acknowledges the win of Serguei Bagapsh
According to the news agency Apcni, the Parliament of the republic not acknowledged by Abkhazia adopted a decree, on Friday, 26, acknowledging the validity of elections held on October 3rd of this year and the win of Serguei Bagapsh in presidential running.
According to the decree, the Parliament, the Council of ministers and State security should set up an official ceremony of investiture for the entering president.

Ardzinba will not resign
The sitting president of Abkhazia, Vladislav Ardzinba, maintained yesterday that he would not resign after December 6th explaining that " or disante unveiling of new President Bagapsh, envisaged at that time, had no legitimacy in Constitution as abkhaze ."
According to the sitting president, " opposition tried by means of this presidential election to be obvious by the voice of the unlawfulness causing not only a whole disorder of the "republic " but also the emergence of armed groups. "
Vladislav Ardzinba moreover maintained that he would also respect the decree which it signed for the keeping of a new presidential election.

Raul Khajimba refuses prime minister's post
The candidate for presidential election, Raul Khajimba, pro-Russian and supported by Kremlin, declined on November 21st the proposal of his rival and victor, Serguei Bagapsh, to occupy prime minister's post of the republic non-acknowledged by Abkhazia.
Serguei Bagapsh prepares, as for him, the celebration of its win which will be held on December 6th of this year while his rival Khadjimba multiplies requests for the keeping of a new polls. This last also warns Serguei Bagapsh on the risk of an unstableness during this unveiling.

The disorder around Abkhazian presidential elections persists
The disorder around Abkhazian presidential elections persists brings back on Thursday, November 11th that Abkhazian opposition would organize a demonstration in the centre of the capital Sukhumi 12, in support of Serguei Bagapsh which aspires to its win during organized presidential elections, let us remind of it, on October 3rd of this year and today questioned.
S.Bagapsh would have as intention to take the oath as new leader of the secessionist region at the beginning of next December.
Demonstration will just take place some days after the progovernmental candidate for presidential elections Raul Khajimba, accompanied with the Prime minister de facto abkhaze Nodar Khashba, goes to official visit to Moscow.

Abkhazia, outcome makes wait
The candidate of opposition, Serguei Bagapch, having carried off presidential election, maintained, in his comeback of Moscow, that the ceremony of investiture of the new president of Abkhazia would be organized on December 7th of this year.
His main rival, Raul Khajimba, pro-governmental, supported by Russian authorities, and also back from Moscow, maintained for his/her part that presidential election would be seen out.
The sitting president, M.Ardzimba, already gave order from his part to see out presidential election next December.

Abkhazia, tension goes up
The presidential election of October 3rd of this year in Abkhazia, secessionist region of Georgia, does not end up provoking numerous rebounds.
The sitting president, Vladislav Arzinba, not having seen becoming a reality the win of protected sound, Raul Khajimba, ancient Prime minister supported also by Moscow, simply cancelled the last polls which gave victorious, Serguei Bagapch, leader of opposition. Abkhazia: the election of Serguei Bagapsh in the Abkhazian presidency is made in disorder
The Electoral Central Commission declared that Serguei Bagapsh carried off with 50,08 % of polls presidential elections held on October 3rd of this year in the small autoproclamee republic of Abkhazia. A declaration which was only nourishing disorder around elections not acknowledged by the international stage.
The win of the pro-Russian candidate Raul Khadjimba returned in effect on its first declaration of announcing October 4th. Having supported by Kremlin - Vladimir Putin accepted it in his residence of summer from Sotchi at the end of August 2004-and the president taking out Vladislav Ardzinba, Khadjimba is other than the ancient prime minister of the secessionist region since May, 2003, adding a passage in his career in the Russian services of security and abkhazes.
The polemic of electoral fraud was triggered off by Businessman Serguei Bagapsh, candidate supported by the movements of opposition Amtsakhara and Aitara, in nationalist tendency and by the veterans of the war of 1993-94 having compared Soukhoumi in Tbilisi. Managing director of the State " Tchernomorenergo " company, Bagapsh occupied the post of head of government abkhaze from 1999 till 2000.
On Sunday, October 10th, under the pressure of crisis going up, elections were so reorganized in the southern region of Gali.
