website) - Urgent problems of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, energy and investments spheres and security will be debated at the international conference on “Kazakhstan and China: strategic partnership for the purpose of development” on March 2 in Almaty.
The conference is initiated by the World Economics and Politics Institute (WEPI) under the 1st Kazakhstan President’s Fund along with the Centre for Chinese Studies under WEPI and China’s Embassy in Kazakhstan under the auspices of KazTransOil, KazZhelDorTrans, Petro Kazakhstan Overseas Services JSC.
The conference will be attended by the political analysts, economic experts, the country’s sinologists and reps of a set of foreign embassies accredited in Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan and China’s cooperation development is known as one of the priorities of the country’s foreign policy. For the past one and a half year the states signed Joint Declaration on establishment and extension of strategic partnership, launched one of the largest pipelines worldwide ranging from the Western Kazakhstan to Western China-Atasu-Alashankou.
